Our Foundations

From Presence to Emergence

At Uzima Life, our approach is grounded in a simple principle: the way we meet ourselves, others and the world shapes what becomes possible.

We bring together coaching, systemic thinking, embodiment and contemplative practices to support individuals, leaders, teams and organisations in navigating complexity, uncertainty and change.

Our practice connects five essential dimensions: inner presence, relational connection, systemic awareness, conscious choice and emergence.

We begin by cultivating the capacity to remain present and grounded, even in challenging situations. From this inner space, we deepen our connection with others, expand our awareness of the wider system and develop the capacity to act consciously and purposefully.

Rather than seeking to control outcomes, we create the conditions in which new perspectives, possibilities and life-affirming directions can emerge.

From inner presence to collective possibility. From awareness to conscious action.

The UniOne Foundation – ME · I · ALL

At the heart of the Uzima Life practice lies the UniOne approach, developed by Moses Garelik, which offers a profound understanding of human consciousness, our inner world and our interconnectedness with all of life.

Central to UniOne is the understanding of ME–I–ALL:

  • ME represents our conditioned patterns, protective mechanisms, emotions and reactions — the parts of ourselves that seek safety and navigate life through our personal experiences.

  • I represents our deeper presence and awareness, from which we can meet ourselves with compassion, embrace what is present and move beyond automatic reactions towards conscious choice.

  • ALL represents our interconnectedness with the larger whole — recognizing that we are not separate from others, our environment or life itself.

These are not separate stages, but interconnected dimensions of our experience. As we cultivate presence in I, we can embrace ME with greater compassion while becoming more aware of our connection with ALL.

This understanding opens the possibility of moving from separation towards connection, from reaction towards conscious choice, and from individual perspectives towards a deeper awareness of the whole.

UniOne brings together wisdom from contemplative traditions and contemporary understanding of human development, offering a path towards greater consciousness, Unity and Uniqueness.

Integrating Complementary Practices

Building on this foundation, Uzima Life integrates a rich diversity of professional and contemplative practices.

These include professional coaching, systemic and organisational coaching, leadership and organisational development, embodiment, mindfulness and contemplative wisdom.

Each brings a complementary perspective:

  • Coaching creates space for self-discovery, reflection, growth and conscious choice.

  • Systemic thinking and practice expand awareness beyond the individual to relationships, patterns and the wider systems of which we are part.

  • Leadership and organisational development connect inner awareness with the practical challenges of collaboration, decision-making, change and transformation.

  • Embodiment and contemplative practices deepen our capacity to remain present, listen inwardly and integrate awareness into everyday life.

Together, these perspectives enrich how we accompany individuals and groups, connecting inner development with relational awareness, systemic understanding and purposeful action.

Bringing the Foundations into Practice

At Uzima Life, these foundations come together in individual coaching, development journeys, experiential workshops, UniOne Circles and organisational partnerships.

The intention is not to apply predefined solutions, but to create spaces in which people can become more present, explore their experiences, recognise patterns, deepen connection and discover new possibilities.

The UniOne Circle is a particularly meaningful expression of this practice. Through presence, deep listening and witnessing, it creates a space where different experiences and perspectives can be welcomed, while remaining connected to the larger whole.

Whether working with an individual, a leadership team or an organisation, we cultivate the inner and collective capacity to meet complexity with awareness, discernment and conscious agency.

Ultimately, our work is about creating the conditions in which individuals and systems can grow, new possibilities can emerge and life-affirming transformation can take form.
